History comes to life in Caldwell County this week with a special event that promises to offer unique insights into the Vietnam War.

Carolyn Traum with the Caldwell County Historical Society invites the public to a special presentation featuring Bill Adams on Thursday at the George Coon Public Library.

She says Adams, a highly respected veteran who served 26 years in the United States Marine Corps—including 14 months in Vietnam—and practiced law for 28 years in Princeton, will share his personal experiences in Vietnam with a compelling slide presentation.

According to Traum, Adams brings a deep knowledge of Vietnam’s history and offers a unique and insightful perspective on the war. She says the evening promises to be both informative and engaging for history lovers, veterans, and the entire community.

Everyone is welcome to attend the special presentation that begins at 6:00 p.m. Thursday.
