Beverly Jane Hulsey, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to many, passed away peacefully on August 7, 2025, in Evansville, IN, at the age of 77. Born on Christmas Day, 1947, in Dalton, KY, Beverly’s life was a celebration of love, family, and faith.
Beverly’s journey began as the beloved daughter of the late Wallace and Margaret Arnold Brinkley. Her spirit was nurtured in the warm embrace of a close-knit family, alongside her late sister, Norma Greulich, and brother, William Brinkley and her Daughter-In-Law, Sabrina Hulsey. Beverly’s heart found its match when she married Regenal Devern “Vern” Hulsey, who preceded her in death. Together, they built a life filled with joy, challenges, and unwavering companionship.
Beverly’s legacy is continued through her devoted children, Kim Hulsey of Dawson Springs and Kevin (Janie Ausborn) Hulsey of Providence. Her love blossomed further with each grandchild, Kerri Jennings, Gustin (Heaven) Hulsey, Dakota (Kasey) Hulsey, and Devin Browning, and shone brilliantly in the eyes of her great-grandchildren, Alivia King, Shyler Hulsey, Bristyl Scott, Jaxon, Brynlee, Ellesyn Hulsey, Gabriele, Lily, Emma, and McKenna Medley. As well as a brother John (Mary) Tucker of Poseyville, IN, brother-in-law Floyd Greuligh of Newburgh, IN, and sister-in-law Reba Nelson Hulsey of Princeton, KY.
Beverly’s passions were a mirror to her nurturing soul. She tended her garden with the same care she gave to her relationships, and her yard and home were a testament to her diligence and love for beauty. Her hands were rarely still, as she was an exceptional housekeeper, decorator, and collector of beautiful treasures. She was also a wonderful seamstress and quilter, creating warmth and comfort for those she loved. Her culinary skills were unparalleled, and her family dinners became a cherished tradition, strengthening the bonds of family with every meal shared. Above all, Beverly adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Each milestone, each laughter-filled holiday, and each quiet moment spent with them was treasured.
She will be greatly missed by the lives she touched. Memories of her will be forever cherished.
