There was an air of excitement as students entered the building at the open house at the Caldwell County Elementary School.
Students eagerly awaited the time for the doors to open, and they were able to go inside and see their friends, compare room assignments, find the classrooms, and meet their teachers. Parents were trying to keep up with the students as they headed to their assigned hallways to get to their classroom and check out the setup for the year. There were a lot of happy faces and smiles as they talked to each other about beginning school for the new year.
Ryker Gray talked about attending the open house and what he is looking forward to this school year.
Easley Gilkey will be in the 5th grade and is ready to get back to school.
