Caldwell County Middle School has, once again, been recognized as a National BETA School of Merit — a distinction awarded to schools whose BETA Clubs demonstrate a strong commitment to academic excellence, leadership and service.

The Junior Beta Club chapter at CCMS has earned this prestigious honor every year since 2021, and the club is sponsored by advisors Chelsea Ardrey, Andrea Asher and Melinda Smith.

Ardrey said she’s proud to sponsor the BETA Club, which helps inspire excellence, service and achievement in students.

In a written statement, National BETA CEO Bobby Hart thanked Caldwell County for its continued support and commitment to developing future leaders.

The CCMS Junior Beta Club chapter remains actively engaged both in the school and the
community. Through the summer, a large group of students attended the Junior Beta Club National Convention in Orlando. And in addition to academic and leadership activities, the chapter is also giving back locally.

This year, they are sponsoring the Black Patch Beauty Pageant during the upcoming Black Patch Festival.
