Caldwell School Board Approves Appointments

The Caldwell County Board of Education approved several appointments as they met for the regular August monthly meeting Monday evening in the Butler Alumni Auditorium.

The meeting was called to order at 6:00 pm by Board Chairman Tim Kennaday with all members present. Kennaday presented several items of business for the board to consider including use of facilities and overnight student trips with the board approving all items.

Kennaday then presented multiple items to be considered including various agreements and a couple of new positions. He also presented request for fundraisers from the Primary/Elementary PTO. All items presented and request were approved by the board.

Superintendent Jeremy Roach recommended the re-appointment of LeAnne Orange as the Board Secretary, Tammy Easley as Board Treasurer and Marc Wells as the Board Attorney all for the 2025-2026 school year. This will be the 46th continuous year for Wells to serve as School Attorney. The board approved all three appointments.
