Thomas Cleo Traylor, age 94, of Caldwell County, passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at his home.
Thomas was born August 8, 1931 to the late Thomas Leonard and Gertha McGregor Traylor. He was a retired coal miner of 38 years but his greatest hobby and passion was farming. He loved watching UK play basketball and the time he spent with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 73 years, Frances Adkins Traylor; daughters, Patricia (Everett) Rustin of Caldwell County, Kathy (Marty) Winn of Caldwell County; son, Keith (Pam) Traylor of Caldwell County; grandchildren, Chris Rustin, Nathan Rustin, Mandy (Johnny) Meeks, Emily (Chris) Lynch, Matthew Traylor and Lorie (Todd) Timmons; great-grandchildren, Zoe (Cabott) Gilkey, Drake (Marley) McConnell, Bella (Brent) McClard, Laney (Grayson) Riddell, Kenzie McConnell, Titus McConnell; great-great-grandchildren, Forrest Gilkey, Aubrey Gilkey and Blake Gilkey.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sisters, Maria Strong, Lorene Traylor, Juanita Hankins and Thelma Traylor; brother, James Traylor.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm Sunday, August 24, 2025 at Morgan’s Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, August 24, 2025 at Morgan’s Funeral Home with Bro. Patrick Yates officiating assisted by Bro. Jeff Boone. Burial will follow in Old Beulah Cemetery in Hopkins County.
