Stanley McKinney, 79, of Princeton

Funeral services 79-year-old Stanley McKinney of Princeton will be held Thursday, August 28, at 1:00 pm at Morgan's Funeral Home.

Burial will follow in Blue Spring Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at Morgan's Funeral Home and 11:00 am until 1:00 pm Thursday, August 28, 2025 at Morgan's Funeral Home.

Stanley McKinney, a cherished husband, father, grandfather and brother, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2025 surrounded by his loving family. He was also born on October 6, 1946 in Princeton, KY. His life was a testament to the joy and laughter he brought to all who knew him.

Stanley's early years were spent in the nurturing care of his parents, Homer and Hattie Belle Hall McKinney. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Katie East, Fredia Oakley, and Wanda Palmer, his brother J.B. McKinney, and his nieces and nephews. His legacy of warmth and humor lives on through his loving family.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Connie Fox McKinney, who was his partner in life's journey for 53 beautiful years and his daughters, Stacey (Jarret) Crider of Smithland, KY, and Misty (Jeremy) Anderson of Princeton, KY. One sister, Loretta Hyde of Cadiz. Stanley's joy was multiplied by his grandchildren, Mason Crider and Carly Crider, and his presence will be deeply missed by his several nieces and nephews.

He spent many years as a dedicated delivery driver for Fortner Gas Company. Later, he became the beloved owner and operator of the "Leisure's, Liar's and Loafers Paradise Produce Stand," where he loved talking to his customers and sharing stories that brought smiles to everyone's faces.

A man of faith, Stanley was a member of the White Sulphur Baptist Church. His Christian beliefs were the cornerstone of his life, guiding him in service and fellowship with others.

His interests outside of work were as lively as he was. Stanley was an avid rabbit and coon hunter, a pastime that allowed him to enjoy the great outdoors and the companionship of friends and family. Those who knew Stanley will remember him as the epitome of someone who was funny and friendly, always ready with a joke or a kind word.
