Local school officials have announced that Caldwell County Middle School has once again earned the distinction of being named a National Beta School of Merit, recognizing its Beta Club’s ongoing dedication to academic excellence, leadership, and service.

Officials noted that the Junior Beta Club at Caldwell County Middle School has received this prestigious honor each year since 2021, with sponsorship from advisors Chelsea Ardrey, Andrea Asher, and Melinda Smith.

In a written statement, Ardrey expressed her pride in sponsoring the Beta Club and in helping to inspire excellence, service, and achievement among students.

In the announcement of this year’s honored chapters, National Beta CEO Bobby Hart thanked everyone for their ongoing support of National Beta and their dedication to cultivating future leaders. He noted that the Caldwell County Middle School Junior Beta Club continues to be highly involved within both the school and the local community.

According to school officials, a large group of local students participated in the Junior Beta Club National Convention held in Orlando, Florida, during the summer.

Along with academic and leadership activities, officials noted that the chapter is also making a difference locally. This year, they are sponsoring the Black Patch Beauty Pageant at the upcoming Black Patch Festival.
