The community is invited to the dedication ceremony of Cherry Park next week in honor of former Mayor Gale Cherry and in memory of State Representative Mike Cherry.
According to local officials, the City of Princeton is celebrating the extraordinary lives and dedicated service of the Cherrys. They said the Cherrys dedicated their hearts and careers to serving the community, region, and state with unwavering commitment, integrity, and compassion.
They said the Cherrys’ legacy of public service and community leadership will forever be remembered in this beautiful space that brings families and the community together.
The dedication ceremony will be held on Thursday, September 25, at 5:30 p.m. at Princeton City Hall, 206 East Market Street.
