A Princeton man was arrested on multiple charges after law enforcement responded to a domestic incident early Tuesday morning.

Assistant Princeton Police Chief Shane Allison says officers were sent to a domestic disturbance just before 1:00 a.m. at a home near the 200 block of South Donnivan Street, where they made contact with 33-year-old John Randolph, Jr.

During the investigation, he says officers determined a physical altercation had occurred, and they observed marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and a plastic baggie containing mushrooms.

Randolph was arrested and charged with fourth-degree assault, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, and second-degree possession of a controlled substance. He was booked into the Caldwell County Jail.
