Bonnie Jane Spalding, age 76, passed away on September 28, 2025, at Rivers Bend Retirement Community in Kuttawa.
Bonnie’s professional life was marked by her longtime service to Purdue University from which she retired. She was an avid reader, and enjoyed frequenting to the movie theater.
Bonnie is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband of 56 years, Charles William Spalding of Princeton. She was the cherished mother to Robin (Chris) Lynn Spalding Bell of Kentlin, IN, and Marcus (Angela) Spalding of Key West, FL. She is also survived by her brothers, Max Delong and Randy Budge, five grandchildren, Christopher Bell, Ryne Bell, Christopher Spalding, Sierra Spalding, and Kimberly Echema and eight great-grandchildren, who she loved dearly.
Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents, Max Delong and Jean Wilkerson, along with her three sisters, two brothers, granddaughter, Leanne Spalding, and grandson, Avery Bell.
Bonnie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
There are no services scheduled for Bonnie Jane Spalding.
