An investigation into inappropriate images involving a minor led to the arrest of an Eddyville man late last week.
Lyon County Sheriff Brent White says 48-year-old David Peek was arrested shortly after 4 p.m. on Thursday, September 25, after an investigation that started on September 20 found he allegedly solicited obscene images from a 12-year-old child. He notes that evidence in the case was collected on both September 20 and September 25.
Peek was charged with procuring or promoting the use of a minor by electronic means and was booked into the Crittenden County Detention Center.
According to Sheriff White, the investigation is ongoing, and additional charges could be filed.
