The public is invited to step into the world of literature and history this Saturday, as the Adsmore Museum hosts an “Author Talk and Book Discussion.”
Adsmore Administrator Wayne Yates says the event will feature award-winning author Jessica K. Whitehead.

In August, the University Press of Kentucky announced that Whitehead’s book, “Driftwood: The Life of Harlan Hubbard,” received the 2025 Thomas D. Clark Medallion, a distinguished honor recognizing exceptional contributions to Kentucky’s literary and cultural heritage.
Yates also shared that Adsmore will host Jazz on the Lawn on Sunday, October 12, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
