A local law enforcement agency recently welcomed a newly hired reserve deputy to its staff.
Sheriff Brent White has announced that Scott Wathen has joined the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office as a reserve deputy, following five years of service in a similar role with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office. Sheriff White shared that Wathen and his family have recently made Kuttawa their home, and they are thrilled to add him to their roster.
Sheriff White noted that Circuit Judge Natalie White recently administered the oath of office to Wathen.
He said that Wathen will support patrol deputies as needed and help during special events across the county.
