The Caldwell County Animal Shelter will host a low-cost rabies vaccination clinic early next month.
The event, which is only open to Caldwell County residents, will take place on Thursday, November 6th, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Animal Control Officer Kevin Lane told Your WPKY News Edge that several partners, including Safe Haven KY, are making this event possible.
Lane added the event will be hosted at the shelter located at 489 Baker Hill Road in Princeton.
Lane mentioned that the rabies vaccine is state-mandated.
The cost for rabies vaccinations will be $5 for each dog, cat, and ferret, and $10 for each horse. The rabies vaccination from the clinic will be good for one year.
