Believe it or not, its almost tax time again! November 1st, 2025 will mark the first official day of Tax Time for all Caldwell County residents. Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office made their annual visit to WPKY’s “Coffee Talk with Tess”, to share all the details home and property owners will need to take advantage of discounts, flexible payment options, online bill viewing and more. The 2025 property tax bills will be mailed October 30, 2025. They become due and payable November 1, 2025.
Property tax bills are mailed directly to the owner. You will need to forward to any third party such as escrow companies.
Payments can be cash, check, cashier’s check, money order or credit card (in person). Amount for checks, MO, and CC must be exact. Postmarks are accepted. Desk stamps are NOT accepted. Payment drop box is available on the East side of the courthouse.
Hours are 8 am to 4 pm Monday through Friday. The sheriff’s office observes State Holiday closures.
Collection dates are:
November 1-30, 2025 2% discount
December 1-31, 2025 Face Amount
January 1-31, 2026 5% Penalty
February 1-April 15, 2026 21% Penalty
