The Caldwell County Animal Shelter and the Caldwell Regional Career Center have entered into an agreement for the local training center to build dog kennels to be used to house dogs at the Caldwell County shelter.
This may be the first and only such arrangement in the state, and on Tuesday afternoon, the public was invited to come to the Career Center to view the first kennel that has been built. Animal Control Officer Kevin Lane shared how this arrangement came to be for the two groups.
