Deborah Landwehr, 71, of Caldwell County

Deborah J. Landwehr passed away at the age of 71 on November 2, 2025, in Baptist Health of Paducah. Born on July 30, 1954, in Caldwell County, KY, Deborah led a life defined by dedication to her family, career, and community.

The daughter of the late James Barrett Jordan and Ola Hurley Jordan Pope, Deborah grew up with roots firmly planted in Kentucky.

Deborah is survived by her daughter, Tracy M. Rogers and husband, Matt Eades of Princeton; three grandchildren and several cousins.

Deborah was widowed twice, first husband, Roy Glenn Rogers, and many years later, to her second husband, Randall Carl Landwehr.

A proud alumna of Murray State University, Deborah graduated in 1987 and embarked on a successful career as an accountant for the Kentucky Department of Revenue. After two decades of meticulous service, she retired in 2007.

Known for her love of animals, especially cats, Deborah was a nurturing soul who found joy in caring for all creatures. Her nurturing touch extended to her garden. Her home was filled with warmth, particularly during the holidays, when it came alive with the aroma of homemade Christmas candy-a tradition she held dear.

Deborah was an active member of the Caldwell County Genealogy Society, linking past generations to present and future ones through her diligent research and discoveries. She contributed to the community as a member of the First Baptist Church of Princeton.

Deborah’s legacy will live on through the meticulous records she kept as a genealogist and the peaceful moments shared in the gardens she tended to with so much love. Though her presence will be deeply missed, Deborah J. Landwehr’s spirit will continue to guide and comfort those who were fortunate enough to love her.
