Linda Faye Hampton Webster, age 79, of Caldwell County, passed away Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Linda was born September 17, 1946 to the late William and Mary Gibbs Hampton. She was a very active member of Eddy Creek Baptist Church. Linda’s greatest accomplishment in this life was her family. She was a marvelous mother who doted on her family and enjoyed nothing more than caring for each and every one of them. She was the ideal matriarch. In her spare time she loved shopping for her family and making sure they always had something nice to enjoy.
She is survived by her loving husband, Hulett Earl Webster of Caldwell County; daughters, Patti (Mike) Bridges of Cadiz and Teresa (Jeff) Dunning of Princeton; son, Steve (Beth) Frederick of Clarksville; step-sons, Steve (Melanie) Webster of Princeton and Mike (Lisa) Webster of Caldwell County; sisters, Sue Gail Fox of Caldwell County, Ann Burnam of Cadiz and Jean Richardson of Crofton; brother, Ronnie Hampton of Cadiz; grandchildren, Jacob Bridges, Jamie Weeks, Brandon Frederick, Jeffrey Erv Childress, Jr., Dustin Blanchard, Jordan Dunning, Jennifer Wease, Joshua Frederick, Clint Miller, Trent Fortner, Brandy Vidigar, James Wynn, Brian Wynn, Haley Smith and Hannah Allen; Step grandchildren, Lauren Atkinson, Andrew Webster, Cole Webster, Bailey Oglesby; several great-grandchildren; several step great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Amy Wynn; sisters, Carol Carneyhan and Ruth Imbush; brothers, Billy, Donnie, Jerry, Danny, Tommy, Bobby Joe and Jimmy Hampton.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Morgan’s Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Sunday, November 9, 2025, at Morgan’s Funeral Home with Bro. David Fambrough officiating. Burial will follow in Eddy Creek Church Cemetery.
