Paula Dunning, age 78, of Princeton, passed away Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Madisonville Baptist Health, surrounded by her family.
Paula was a homemaker and a member of White Sulphur Baptist Church. She loved shopping-especially for jewelry-and traveling with her family. Paula cherished every moment spent with loved ones. She had a giving heart and always found ways to express her generosity, including sharing candy with the children at church. Paula was a loving wife, stepmother, aunt, and friend.
She is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Dale Dunning of Caldwell County; one stepson, Robert (Lori) Dunning of Caldwell County; three brothers, Joe (Kathy) Curtis, Melvin (Gloria) Curtis, all of Caldwell County, and Roger Curtis of Evansville, IN; a special niece, Renee (Bill) Clift of Caldwell County; sister-in-law, Ann Barnwell of Princeton; great-niece, Camryn (Cole) Manion; great-nephew, Cody (Riley) Clift; and several other nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to her special caretakers-Jackie, Mary, Jessica, and Missi-for their care and loving hearts.
Paula was preceded in death by her parents, J.D. Curtis and Cynthia Curtis Riley, and four brothers: James Curtis, Buddy Curtis, Charlie Curtis, and Michael “Spanky” Curtis.
Visitation will be held for Paula Dunning on Monday, November 10, 2025, at Morgan’s Funeral Home from 12:00 pm to 2:00 PM.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, November 10, 2025, at Morgan’s Funeral Home at 2:00 pm with Bro. Bill Bruce officiating.
Burial to follow in Woodruff Cemetery in Caldwell County.
