Terry Lewis, 81, of Princeton

Terry Edward Lewis, age 80, of Princeton, passed away on November 20, 2025, at Rivers Bend Retirement Community in Kuttawa, Kentucky.

He was born on December 17, 1944, in Caldwell County to his late parents, William and Mary Cleaves Lewis. Terry, a devoted family man and a member of Highland Baptist Church. Terry found peace in the simple pleasures of fishing and the honest labor of iron scraping.

Terry is survived by daughter, Joy Taylor of Princeton; son, Terry Don Lewis and Kathy of Princeton; step-daughter, Judy (Ronnie) Ortt of Caldwell County; step-son, Randall “Bo” (Kim) Jackson of Princeton; two brothers, Roger B. Lewis of Princeton, Stevie Lewis of Grand Rivers; four grandchildren, Shimberly Cansler, Marty Vincent, Chelsea Vincent, Adrainna Lewis; and several great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Pearl Cooper Lewis; two daughters, Martha Ann Jackson and Rita Walker; two sons, Terry Hampton Lewis and Jeff Jackson; sister, Charlotte Weaver; four brothers, Danny Wayne Lewis, Tommy Lewis, Linford Lewis and Chuckie Lewis; step-grandson, Scotty Edward Walker; and great-grandson, Terry Desmond Traylor.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at Morgan’s Funeral Home with Bro. Nicky Knight officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until service time on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at Morgan’s Funeral Home.
