Nini Bower, age 76, of Draffenville, KY, formerly of Princeton, passed away Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at Murray Calloway County Hospital. She was a devoted wife, a loving homemaker, and a gentle soul whose kindness touched everyone who knew her. She cherished her family deeply and shared a lifelong, tender bond with her husband, John, whom she affectionately called “Darling.”
Grounded in her Christian faith, Nini found joy in the simplicity and closeness of small-town life. Her warm heart, steady grace, and unwavering love will be remembered always by those fortunate enough to have been part of her world. Nini was born September 6, 1949, to the late Oscar Lee Marshall and Nell Rose Vickrey Marshall.
She is survived by her adored husband, John Bower of Draffenville; daughters, Ramona (Barry) of Cadiz and Deborah (Robert) Vallely of Princeton; son, Bradley Pugh of Paducah; sister, Barbara Meeks of Princeton; brother, Thomas Lee Marshall of Princeton; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Rebecca Wagner and Hilda Korpi; brother, Allen Marshall.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm Monday, November 24, 2025, at Morgan’s Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be held at 2:30 pm Monday, November 24, 2025, at Princeton Memorial Garden.
