Princeton Woman Charged With DUI After Crashing Into Utility Pole

A Princeton woman was charged with DUI after a wreck on South Seminary Street Monday evening.

Assistant Princeton Police Chief Shane Allison says officers were sent to the collision shortly after 5:30 p.m., where a car had struck a utility pole.

According to officers, an investigation revealed that the driver, 26-year-old Mazzlyn Dype, was under the influence of intoxicants.

Dype was taken into custody and charged with DUI 1st offense. She was lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
