The sweet smell of homemade cookies filled the air as Create Princeton welcomed the community to its annual old-fashioned Christmas Cookie Walk on Friday afternoon, turning festive treats into support for local programs.
Create Princeton held its annual Cookie Walk on Friday afternoon to raise funds for the nonprofit, with Laura Klubert telling WPKY’s News Edge that over a dozen different groups donated cookies for the event.

click to download audioTables were set up in the Community Life Center at First Baptist Church, where attendees picked up a box and went around to each table to select their favorite homemade cookies, which were sold at $6 per pound.
According to Klubert, this year’s event brought in just over $2,000.
