Princeton’s Small Town Christmas Delivers Day of Festive Fun

After a festive Friday filled with cookies and a parade, Princeton’s holiday celebrations stretched into Saturday as the community gathered for Small Town Christmas, featuring a full day of family-friendly events and holiday cheer.

The day kicked off with the annual Breakfast with Santa & Mrs. Claus at Adsmore House & Gardens, hosted by the Princeton Rotary Club. Member Laura Klubert said the event “went well” and the Rotary Club was happy to provide this long-standing tradition.

Director Nichelle Faughn said the George Coon Public Library hosted a Santa’s Workshop from 10 a.m. until Noon.

click to download audioFrom Noon until 2 p.m., Princeton Art Guild Executive Director Joe Duncan said they hosted a Do It Yourself Ornaments for Kids event with over 100 participants, which was made possible for free due to grant funding.

click to download audioPrinceton Tourism Director and Caldwell Chamber of Commerce President Laci Harper, who was attending the events with her children, was grateful to those who helped make the day special for the community.

click to download audioThe Small Town Christmas also featured Sit & Sip with Santa provided by MJ’s Lattes, the third annual Turnk Show provided by The Eyecare Center of Princeton, and a visit with Santa at the Caldwell County Chamber Santa House.
