Ashley Renea Gibson, age 38, of Princeton, passed away January 3, 2026, at her home.
Ashley was born January 26, 1987, in Abilene, T,X to Howard T. Pendley, Jr. and Machelle D. Traylor.
Ashley was a deeply creative soul whose talents and passions brought beauty and comfort to those around her. She was a master of latch hook work, creating pieces that reflected her patience, skill, and artistic spirit. Ashley enjoyed reading and found joy in watching her favorite movie, The Nightmare Before Christmas, which perfectly matched her unique and imaginative personality. She had a great love for animals, showing kindness and compassion to all living things. Above all else, Ashley’s greatest love was her family, who meant everything to her and remained at the center of her heart.
She is survived by father, Howard T. Pendley, Jr. of Mortons Gap; mother, Machelle D. Traylor and husband, Jamie Traylor of Kuttawa; her daughter, Aayah Jenkins of Lexington; sons, Cameron Burchett and Ethan Burchett both of Princeton; brothers, Howard T. Pendley, III of Jackson, TN and Alexander E. Pendley of Kuttawa; grandchildren, Dylan Jenkins and Alice Jenkins both of Lexington; life partner, Ryan Burchett of Princeton.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Shirley Clemens and Edward Russell; paternal grandparents, Howard, Sr. and Ethel Pendley.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm Friday, January 9, 2026, at Morgan’s Funeral Home.
