11th Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration in Princeton Jan. 19

The community is invited to the annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Celebration to honor his legacy on Monday, January 19th, at Central Presbyterian Church in Princeton.

Pat George from the Martin Luther King Jr. Organizing Committee, who spoke with WPKY’s News Edge following Tuesday’s rotary meeting, says this is the eleventh year of the celebration, and the event will include the return of a pre-pandemic meal.

click to download audioIn addition, there is a march scheduled to start around 11:30 a.m. from the Butler parking lot, leading up to the celebration at the church.

click to download audioThe Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration will start at noon on Monday, January 19, at Central Presbyterian Church, located at 206 West Main Street in downtown Princeton.
