Dianna Sue Fambrough, passed away on January 9, 2026, at the age of 78 in Nashville, TN. She was born August 1, 1947 to the late Malcolm Faye and Mary Frances Hicks Buchanan in Union City, TN.
Her journey through life was marked by a devotion to the Lord Jesus Christ, her church, and her family.
Dianna shared 56 years of marriage with her husband, David Wayne Fambrough. Together, they built a life full of love and laughter, setting an example of true partnership for all who knew them. Dianna is survived by her daughter, Leslie Peek, and husband, Roger of Princeton, KY, and son, David Allen Fambrough and wife, Amanda of Clarksville, Tennessee. Dianna is also survived by her sisters, Debra Fulgham, and Dana Abercrombie of Kenton, Tennessee, her five grandchildren, Carlie Peek, Shea Fambrough, Tre Fambrough, Kailey Fambrough and David Tossi, five great-grandchildren, Endaya, Aaryiah, Chloe, Avery and Izarah, which brought great joy to life. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Leah Fambrough, sister, Judy Williams, and brother, Michael Buchanan.
Dianna was a respected pastor’s wife and an active member of the Eddy Creek Baptist Church. Her faith guided her through life’s challenges and triumphs, and she drew strength from her unwavering belief. A true U.K. Basketball fan, Dianna enjoyed the thrills of the game, a passion she shared with her family and friends. Dianna enjoyed cooking, whether it was a family gathering or a church event, she lovingly prepared meals that brought people together and created warm memories that would last a lifetime. Her memory will be honored by all whose lives she touched, as they carry forward the love and values she cherished. Dianna Sue Fambrough’s life story serves as a testament to a life well-lived. She was an inspiration and a courageous soul who made the world brighter.
Visitation will be from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM Sunday, January 11, 2026 at Morgan’s Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Monday, January 12, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Morgan’s Funeral Home with Dr. Jeff Burris and Rev. Gary Cruse officiating. Burial will follow in Eddy Creek Church Cemetery.
