Johnny Cotton, age 65, of Princeton, passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at Baptist Health Hospital in Madisonville.
Johnny was born September 2, 1960, to the late Sam and Charlene Burchett Cotton. He was a member of Highland Baptist Church. Johnny found great joy in tinkering with tractors, mules, and wagons, always appreciating the simple pleasures of hard work and country life. Above all else, Johnny dearly loved and cherished his granddaughter, who was the light of his life and meant more to him than anything. He will be remembered for his devotion, gentle spirit, and the love he shared with those around him.
He is survived by his daughter, Hope (Steven) Martin of Princeton; sisters, Janie Harper of Princeton and Joan Terry of Princeton; his adored granddaughter, Hazel Martin; and several special nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Sammy, Ronnie, and Bobby Cotton.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm Sunday, January 18, 202,6 at Morgan’s Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Monday, January 19, 202,6 at Morgan’s Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Dean Cotton officiating.
