Betty Jean Stewart, age 87, of Princeton, passed away Thursday, January 15, 2026, at her home. Born on May 31, 1938, she was raised in Caldwell County by her late parents, T.C. Bealmear and Vada Myers Bealmear. Betty was a member of Cedar Bluff Baptist Church and enjoyed reading and gardening flowers. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Betty Jean is survived by her two daughters, Angela Dee Milton of Princeton and Mindy (Bryan) Morgan of Jesup, GA; two sons, Steven Stewart of Fredonia and Robert “Robbie” Stewart of Caldwell; one sister, Linda Heidt of Deland, FL; one half-sister, Barbara Stephens of Caldwell; two half-brothers, Tommy Bealmear of Princeton and Earl Bealmear of Princeton; seven grandchildren, Harold Wayne Stewart, Diane Hopkins, Scott Stewart, Crissy Stevenson, Kayla Stevenson, Ethan Stewart and Robert Morgan and three great-grandchildren Cameron Stewart, Elaina Hopkins and Liam Stevenson.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, James Everette Stewart, one son, Richard Stewart, two sisters, Verble Shevalier and Martha Vickery, one brother, Donald Bealmear, and half-brother, Hayden Bealmear.
Visitation for Betty Jean Stewart will be held Sunday, January 18, 2026, at Morgan’s Funeral Home from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
Funeral Services for Betty Jean Stewart will be held Sunday, January 18, 2026, at Morgan’s Funeral Home at 2:00 pm with Bro. Mark Faughn officiating,
Burial to follow in Princeton Memorial Garden in Princeton.
