Jerry Murphy, 78, of Princeton

Jerry Edward Murphy, 78, of Princeton, Ky passed away in the early hours of Wednesday, January 14th 2025.

He was born November 18, 1947, to the late Edward Murphy and Juanita Murphy. He grew up in Princeton and joined the US Air Force shortly into adulthood. He stayed with the Air Force for 4 years before deciding the Navy would be a better fit. After his honorable discharge, he worked as a service technician for AT&T in Mayfield, KY. Following many years of hard work, he retired and moved back to his hometown. There, he saw his grandkids grow as well as the birth of his great-grandchildren, who he cherished deeply. He will be remembered by those who love him for his generosity and wit.

He is survived by his sister, Judy Murphy Pharris; his children, Jeremy (Heather) Murphy and Dacia Murphy; his grandkids, Hannah Haberlock, Bryce (Victoria) Davis, Bayley Bruce, Dayle-Lynn Murphy, Sydney (Jacob) Fulcher, Sage Grant, and Cordie Murphy; and his beloved great grandchildren, Vivien Cook, Jeremiah Fulcher, Diana Davis, Scarlet Fulcher and Dorien Matheny

In addition to both his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Dale Murphy, and his grandson, Logan Murphy.

The family is very grateful for all condolences and thank each of you for celebrating his life as we have.
