Ronald Pryor, 79, of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee

Ronald Ervin Pryor, age 79, of Mt. Juliet, TN, formerly of Princeton, passed away January 17, 2026, in Mt. Juliet, TN.

Ronald was born June 20, 1946, to the late Thomas Casper Pryor and Dorothy Eline Satterfield Pryor Stout. He was a 1965 graduate of Caldwell County High School and went on to become a dedicated United States Army Soldier. Ronald served over 26 years in the Army and was deployed multiple times to many different countries, including Korea, Vietnam, Belgium and Turkey. He enjoyed being a member of the VFW in Nashville, the American Legion in Nashville, and the Elks Lodge. Ronald retired from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs after 13 years of service.

He is survived by sons, Chris (Amberly) Pryor of Murfreesboro, TN, and John (Erin) Pryor of Nolensville, TN; step-brothers, Ron Stout of Oak Ridge, TN, and Ransom Stout of Benton; grandchildren, Evan, Grant, Cruz, and Holden Pryor; best friends, Martin and Tammy Hinsley of Hermitage, TN.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Melinda Baker, Melanie McGough, and brother, Roger Pryor.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at Morgan’s Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at Morgan’s Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery with military honors.
