Brett Travis, 58, of Paducah

Brett Alan Travis, 58, of Paducah, went to be with our Lord and Savior on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Baptist Health Hospital in Paducah.

He was born in Princeton, Kentucky, on December 20, 1967, to his mother, Norma Sue Garner Randolph, and his late father, Lonnie Ray Travis. Brett was a graduate of Crittenden County High School, Class of 1985. Brett was a faithful man who loved the Lord with all his heart; he was born again in 1999 and is a member of Heartland Church in Paducah.

Brett spent 40 years selling cars, combining his gift for conversation with his appreciation for classic automobiles. He loved his Seay Motors family, where he was a sales manager for many years. He especially loved his boss, Larry Joe Seay, who took him to Nashville to his appointments and not only provided financially, but he was also a true friend to Brett.

Above all, Brett cherished time with his family and especially enjoyed taking them on vacations, including regular Disney trips that became a treasured tradition for his grandchildren, who were a big part of what kept him fighting.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his best friend and beautiful wife of sixteen years, LaDarra Travis; daughter, Andrea (Matthew) Moore of Crittenden County; sons, Justin (Ami) Travis of McCracken County, Cory Prado of Paducah; three sisters, Suzan (Wesley) Dale of Lyon County, Tina Jo Travis of Lyon County, Jennifer (Justin) Alexander of Crittenden County; Brother, Daron DePriest of Indianapolis, IN; four grandchildren, Natalie Travis, Emily Travis, Travis Moore, Amelia Moore; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at Lakeland Funeral Home in Eddyville with Bro. Keith Allred and Bro. Rick Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Caldwell Springs Cemetery in Crittenden County.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at Lakeland Funeral Home.
