A Marion woman is facing multiple charges after a collision in Princeton Thursday night.

Assistant Princeton Police Chief Shane Allison says officers were sent to a non-injury wreck shortly after 10:30 p.m. and located a pickup truck stuck in a yard at 304 Good Street.

He says a further investigation revealed the truck had struck a parked vehicle on Good Street before leaving the road and traveling into the yard.

Police say the driver, 28-year-old Abbigayle Matthews, was still in the pickup truck and determined to be under the influence of intoxicants.

She was taken into custody and charged with DUI 1st offense, instructional permit violations, possession of an open alcohol beverage container in a motor vehicle, failure to produce an insurance card, and license to be in possession.

Matthews was booked into the Caldwell County Jail.
