Kenneth Galusha, 62, of Fredonia, passed away Saturday, February 14, 2026, at his home.
He was born on December 19, 1963, in Paducah, Kentucky, to his late parents, Hale and Alice McVay Galusha. He was a member of Suwanee Furnace Baptist Church, where he was saved. He graduated from Lyon County High School and worked alongside his brother in concrete construction before transitioning to Treehouse Foods in Princeton around 2012, where he was currently employed as a relief operator. Gifted with his hands, Ken was especially skilled in carpentry and could build or fix just about anything.
Above all, Ken cherished his wife, always treating her like a princess, and he loved his family more than anything in this world. He was a devoted fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and the University of Kentucky Wildcats, and he found joy in working in his yard and tending his garden.
Ken is survived by his wife of 28 years, Janice Traylor Galusha; daughter, Amanda (Cody) Milstead of Fredonia; son, Dennis “Spike” Watson of Fredonia; two sisters, Chonita (Carroll) Wadlington of Kuttawa, Lisa (Gene) Wilson of Eddyville; Dennis (Debbie) Galusha of Eddyville, Steve (Marsha) Galusha of Eddyville, Chris (Lisa) Galusha of Bowling Green; eight grandchildren, Kali Skaggs, Genesis Skaggs, Aiden Skaggs, Bryson Milstead, Zoe Milstead, Jordan Haney, Axel Watson, Brooklyn Cooper; one great-granddaughter, Violet Skaggs; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Ken was preceded in death by his son, Aaron “Bubba” Watson; two brothers, Tom Galusha and Bobby Galusha.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at Morgan’s Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at Morgan’s Funeral Home with Bro. Patrick Yates officiating and Bro. Phillip Whitaker assisting. Burial will follow in Fredonia Cemetery.
