Authorities say a weekend traffic incident in Caldwell County led to the arrest of a Princeton teenager on multiple drug charges.
Caldwell County Sheriff Don Weedman reports that a deputy radioed dispatch after a brown vehicle nearly collided head-on with his patrol car on Saturday. However, he says the deputy was unable to initiate a traffic stop at that time because he was transporting a male subject.
A short time later, another deputy reportedly spotted the vehicle traveling on Kentucky Highway 293 North and successfully conducted a traffic stop.
According to Sheriff Weedman, the driver, 18-year-old Jaibre Cozart was taken into custody and charged with reckless driving, no registration plates, no registration receipt, failure of a non-owner operator to maintain required insurance, possession of meth, and illegal possession of a legend drug. She was lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
