As of 6:37 p.m. Tuesday, the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says the I-24 eastbound off-ramp at Exit 45 in Lyon County and KY 293 between KY 93 and the interstate have reopened.
State transportation officials say that law enforcement officers are still at the scene conducting an investigation.

Kentucky State Police Post 1 reports that troopers, along with units from local agencies in Lyon County, are currently dealing with a law enforcement incident on KY 293 near the intersection with KY 93 outside of Eddyville.
As of 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, police say that Exit 45 off Interstate 24 is closed due to the ongoing situation.
Officials with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet say KY 293 is also blocked in both directions between KY 293 and the I-24 Exit 45 interchange.
According to authorities, additional information will be provided later, as details are currently limited.
Motorists are advised to stay clear of the area and use alternate routes.
