
A Princeton man is facing assault and strangulation charges following a reported domestic incident on Friday afternoon.
Princeton Assistant Police Chief Shane Allison says officers responded to a report of a domestic assault at a residence near the 200 block of West Locust Street just before 12:15 p.m. Friday. According to police, the victim stated she had been assaulted and strangled by her boyfriend, 26-year-old Colbin Shean, with whom she shares a child.
Shean was taken into custody and charged with fourth-degree assault and first-degree strangulation. He was booked into the Caldwell County Jail.
