We continue our interviews with Caldwell County FFA members as part of the National FFA Week recognition. Today, we are talking with three students that have focused on the Agriculture Shop classes and the construction side of the FFA experience.
The FFA program is more than the traditional speaking instruction and livestock production. It includes training students in the shop classroom, where they learn skills to build and construct items to be used in Agriculture careers, as well as welding skills.
FFA member David Ginn has grown up on a farm and shared he has been able to learn more skills during his time in the shop classes.

click to download audioSutton Ritchey noted that building the sets for the school musical has taught him a lot and also working on other projects for the community through the Ag. classroom.
