Alice Kirkwood, 85, of Princeton

Alice Faye Kirkwood, 85, of Princeton, passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at Caldwell Medical Center.

She was born on November 3, 1940, in Earlington, Kentucky, to her late parents, Timothy Cook “T.C.” and Onnie Kate (Melton) Flynn. After graduating from high school, Alice and her husband began their life together in Hopkinsville and lived in several communities, including Morganfield and Paducah, before making their home in Princeton in 1967. She was a longtime member of Second Baptist Church and also spent several years attending Calvary Baptist Church. Alice was a faithful woman who took great pride in caring for her home and keeping it neat and welcoming.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Pat K. Kirkwood.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Alan Kirkwood; two sisters, Dean Ashby and Nancy Cross; and one brother, Roy Flynn.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 9, 2026, in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Princeton, with Randy Meeks officiating.
