Louise Baker, age 94, of Madisonville, formerly of Princeton, passed away March 8, 2026, at her daughter’s home.
Louise was born June 30, 1931, to the late Carl Henderson Hunt and Vera Mae Cook Hunt Pruitt. She was a 76-year member of Chapel Hill Baptist Church.
She is survived by daughters, Patricia Clark of Madisonville and Vera Ellen Poindexter of Princeton; sons, Carl (Benita) Baker of Paducah and Charles (Nancy) Baker of Texas; sister, Carrole Joe White of Indiana; fourteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; twelve great-great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Jane Baker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Rayburn Patrick Baker and son, William David Baker.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at Morgan’s Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, March 12, 2026 at Morgan’s Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry Holeman and Tondra Daughtery officiating. Burial will follow in Fredonia Cemetery.
