Authorities in Lyon County are asking for the public’s help to identify a woman law enforcement believes was involved in a recent theft at a closed business in Eddyville.

The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office reports that their investigation started after receiving a request from the Eddyville Police Department, following a theft complaint involving an unidentified woman.

Authorities say the woman was caught on surveillance cameras trespassing at a closed business in the early morning hours on Friday. Police say they believe she took items from a toolbox and other property, then used a cell phone before being picked up by an unknown driver in a dark-colored car with its headlights off.

The pair then left the area.

Anyone with information about the woman’s identity is encouraged to contact the Eddyville Police Department at (270) 388-2287 or the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office at (270) 388-2311.
