Students from the Caldwell County Primary School took a short field trip up the hill on Friday to get a special preview of the high school students as they presented a special showing of the school’s spring musical “Sponge Bob, The Musical”. The fine arts building at the high school was completely full as the younger students were able to see the high school students in full costume singing, dancing, and delivering their lines, complete with bright lights and special effects. The response from the primary students included applause, screams and of course a standing ovation. After the presentation some of the primary school teachers were asked to share their thoughts about the musical and how the students reacted to the program. Teacher Rachel Henry thought the students enjoyed the songs and special effects.
