A Caldwell County High School sophomore was recently named the first-place winner in the Kentucky State JV Wrestling Tournament. This was the first time a wrestler from Caldwell County has won first place in JV competition for the local wrestling program. Trey Herron won the gold in the 106 weight division at the State level after finishing top at the regional contest. Herron explained that this was his second year to be active in the local wrestling program.
