Dollie June Sherrell Felker, age 78, of Princeton, passed away March 14, 2026, at Princeton Health and Rehabilitation.
Dollie was born April 25, 1947, to the late Lendel and Sylvia Joyce Sherrell. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Dollie was a devoted Christian woman who cherished her church family and lived her life with kindness and faith.
Dollie retired from the Caldwell County School System, where she worked as a teacher’s aide. She truly loved her job and the many children whose lives she touched through her patience, care, and encouragement.
On August 4, 1965, she married the love of her life, Roger, beginning a lifelong partnership built on love and devotion. Above all else, Dollie treasured her family. Nothing brought her more joy than spending time with them, especially her grandchildren, who held a very special place in her heart.
She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her strong faith, and the love she shared so freely with everyone around her.
She is survived by two sons, Eric (Melissa) Felker of Muhlenberg County and Jason (Maria) Felker of Princeton; grandchildren, Jordan Lee (Macey) Felker, Jase Ryan Felker, Allie Felker and Justin Case; brothers, Charles (Margaret) Sherrell of Fairfield, OH, Paul Sherrell of Crayne, Harold (Marry) Sherrell of Ava, SC; sisters, Ruth (CD) Sheridan of Caldwell County, Joyce “Tootsie” (Reed) Franklin of Caldwell County, Dorothy (Billy) Teague of Princeton and Rita (Matt) Aikins of Benton.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Lee Felker; brother, James “Jim” Sherrell; sister, Linda Guthrie; nephew, Chris Coleman.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at Morgan’s Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at Morgan’s Funeral Home with Bro. Ken Cummins officiating. Burial will follow at Beech Grove Cemetery.
