Carroll “Cookie Man” Cook, 86, of Princeton, passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at his daughter’s home in Evansville, Indiana.
He was born on December 12, 1939, in Princeton, Kentucky, to his late parents, Don William and Pearl Riley Cook. Carroll cherished the simple pleasures of fishing and hunting, and the thrill of watching NASCAR races. He worked for Johnny Beshear and Cy Beshear for years and retired from Beshear Sawmill.
Carroll is survived by his daughter, Lisa (Frank) Millsap; five sisters, Goldie (Jerry) Shaw, Virginia Daugherty, Anna Lane, Connie (Randy) Gonzales, Suezanna Wiles; brother, Donnie Hank (Kathy) Snow; four grandchildren, Kevin Cook-Farmer, Brooke Reeves, Connie Cook, Jessica Cook; five great-grandchildren, Madison Cooper, Macy Reeves, Makenzi Reeves, Christopher Cook-Farmer, Bruce Cook-Farmer; four great-great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Cooper, Bentley Cooper, Bryson Cooper, and Braden Cooper.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Donald Cook; sister, Dollie Manning; two brothers, Billy Wayne Cook, James Cook; and grandson, Jeffery Cook.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at Morgan’s Funeral Home with burial to follow in Beech Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, March 24, 2026, at Morgan’s Funeral Home.
