A Princeton teenager being sought by local law enforcement for escape was arrested over the weekend.
According to Princeton Assistant Police Chief Shane Allision, 18-year-old Jai’bre Cozart was taken into custody around noon Sunday on a Caldwell County bench warrant for failing to appear in court, as well as an arrest warrant for second-degree escape.
Police say the escape charge is related to Cozart leaving court-ordered drug rehabilitation and failing to return to jail.
After Sunday’s arrest, Cozart was booked into the Caldwell County Jail.
