Jeremiah Allen Smith, age 48, of Eddyville, passed away March 23, 2026 in Farmington, KY.
Jeremiah was born August 20, 1977, to Martha Hunter Smith and the late David Frank Smith. Jeremiah was known for his tireless work ethic and his constant smile, always ready to brighten the day of anyone he met. His kindness knew no bounds, and he had an extraordinary ability to make everyone feel like family. Above all, Jeremiah’s greatest joy was his family-he cherished his wife, Leslie, and loved them all deeply. His big heart and generous spirit will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
He is survived by his adored wife, Leslie Smith of Eddyville; mother, Marsha Hunter Smith of Kuttawa; step-son, Maleachi Mayes of Eddyville; sister, Becky Ramey of Fredonia; brothers, David Smith of Clarksville, TN and Daniel Smith of Kuttawa; nieces and nephews, Brandon Ramey, Brileigh Ramey, Breanna Ramey and Daniel Smith, Jr.
Visitation will be held Sunday, March 29, 2026, at Lakeland Funeral Home from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm.
