Motorists in Lyon County should prepare for a midday detour this Friday.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to temporarily close the KY 1943 bridge over Crab Creek for a routine inspection. The bridge is situated between KY 295 and KY 373, northwest of Eddyville.
Work is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. and should wrap up by 2 p.m. Friday, weather permitting.
Drivers who normally use this route are asked to seek an alternate path while crews are on-site.
