Updates on city projects and ongoing improvements were shared during the recent Princeton City Council meeting, demonstrating efforts to enhance community services in the city.
Public Works Director Chris Pool noted that repairs have been completed on the fountain at the Planter’s Pavilion, and also reported that a cross drain was replaced on Jeff Watson Road at the end of March, noting that it should help reduce flooding in the area.
Councilman Jim Joiner, a member of the Princeton-Caldwell County Airport board, expressed his appreciation to Princeton Public Works for their extra mowing on the west side of the field near the new T-hangar building. He added that the Board will convene a pre-bid meeting for the new runway project on May 4th at 10 a.m. in the terminal building.
